No one except the animal is permitted to come into the vet mobile
We guarantee to be open at least until 2pm but we stay until we see everyone who has come, so please try to come before 2 pm. if unable to, please call 718 544 pets when stepping out the door so we can predict whether we will still be seeing patients by the time you arrive

We are continuing our regular schedule 5 days a week, with the only modification being that we are not traveling to other boroughs.
The Vet Mobile is now open EVERY Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
Express buses QM4 (every hour) & QM44 (during rush hours) come directly to us from mid and upper Manhattan in under 40 minutes
Get off at the last stop in Queens (Horace Harding Expwy [Service Road of the L.I.E.] & 164 St.) Walk four short blocks to 160 Street
We perform surgeries, dentals, spay/neuter, hospitalization, ultrasound, echocardiogram, chemo at low cost

If booking/paying with a debit or credit card or cash you must come in person (without the animal). If you cancel after booking a surgery there is a $50 cancellation fee for Spay Neuters and a $250 cancellation fee for major surgeries, dentals, ultrasounds, & personalized services.

Dr. Linden Dodson
A graduate of Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Dodson has been practicing for over thirty years. He has been a professor of anatomy at a major New York Nursing School. Dr. Dodson brings his advanced surgical skills and vast experience to the Vet Mobile. Dr. Dodson performs many specialized surgeries for the Vet Mobile which usually require a board certified surgeon, thereby keeping prices low for even the most expensive surgeries.
Dr. Dennis Herstein
A graduate of Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Herstein has been practicing for forty seven years. Dr. Herstein is our most experienced clinician and works every Friday in Manhattan and every other Thursday in Staten Island and substitutes when one of our clinician veterinarians is on vacation or need to take a day off.
Vet Mobile Veterinary Staff
The Vet Mobile brings to you and your best friends some of New York's most experienced veterinarians. Our 7 veterinarian staff consists of 3 clinician veterinarians who provide examinations, 3 surgeon veterinarians who perform almost every type of surgery, and 3 sonogram specialist veterinarians, and one board certified surgeon. Their combined experience and knowledge provide us the capability to provide FULL services at low prices. We are one of the handful of veterinary hospitals in New York City which are full service. Come and meet our distinguished veterinary staff and at the same time save 25-75% from market prices.
Dr. Ashraf Hussein
A graduate of Cairo University School of Veterinary Medicine, before obtaining his New York State Veterinary license Dr. Hussein was a New York State Licensed Veterinary Technician. He has had extensive emergency medicine experience at New York city emergency centers. Dr. Hussein works Tuesdays and Saturdays at the Vet Mobile and performs all our dental surgeries and other surgeries.

With over twenty years of surgical expertise Dr. Balkaran performs the majority of surgeries at the Low Cost Vet Mobile, including many specialized surgeries which usually require a board certified surgeon, thereby keeping prices low for even the most expensive surgeries.
Dr. S. Anthony Kahn
Dr. Kahn is a graduate of Tufts University School of veterinary medicine. He is a board certified surgeon who performs specialized surgeries at the Vet Mobile.
